Important Note: BDD claims must be filed 180 to 90 days prior to your Estimated Time of Separation (ETS) or Release from Active Duty (RFAD) date.

Benefits Delivery at Discharge (BDD) Claims: BDD claims allow service members to submit their VA disability claim before leaving the military, ensuring that they receive their benefits as soon as possible after discharge.
