Teen Advisory Board

The Library's Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B.) consists of students in grades 9 through 12.  The program is held from September to May of the school year.  TAB members will have the opportunity to help plan, promote, and be a part of our teen programs.  Participation in this program will help teens plugin and make an impact in their community.  TAB members will also receive volunteer hours which can be used on future college/job applications.

What are the benefits of being a TAB member?

  • You will take an active leadership role in planning programs and events for teens– we need your input!
  • You will earn volunteer hours for attending TAB meetings and assisting with programs.
  • You will be a stronger college, scholarship, and job applicant.
  • You will build relationships with a diverse group of students from Montgomery County.

How do I join TAB?

  • Have parental permission.
  • Have a recommendation letter from a teacher or community member.
