The James Killebrew Collection

Mr. James Killebrew, long-time genealogy researcher, donated his entire collection of personally compiled genealogy books to the library in 2011. He also donated an antique bookcase, formerly located at Clarksville’s first college, Stewart College, to house the collection. This lovely bookcase is located in the Brown Harvey, Sr. Genealogy Room. Many of the items refer to Christian County, KY, Mr. Killebrew’s main focus of his research. It contains court records, old school yearbooks, and personal letters Mr. Killebrew has collected over the years. This is a great asset to the genealogy department and to the local researcher, as well.
