Human Resources Staff
The Human Resources staff continually strives to develop and implement employee programs that will create and sustain a qualified and harmonious workforce. It is our goal to provide human resource services that will efficiently and effectively contribute to the mission of Montgomery County Government while improving the quality of work life for all our staff.
Human Resources is comprised of the functional areas of employee services which includes employee relations, employment, payroll, benefits, risk management and on-the-job injury.
Director of Human Resources

Safety and Risk Management Manager

Primary duties are managing the county’s risk management programs and assisting county employees who are temporarily disabled due to injury or illness that arises out and in the course of performing their assigned duties.
Human Resources Manager, Payroll
Primary duties are complete oversight of processing exempt and non-exempt payroll functions; processing retirement documentation and loans.
Human Resources Specialist, Benefits
Primary duties include oversight of benefit enrollment, questions and claims; benefits and health fair; new employee orientation; FMLA; employee service awards; and employee retirement plans.
Responsible for the daily functions of the On-the-Job injury program. Assist in coordinating training and safety for County employees in collaboration with Department Heads and Elected Officials.
Human Resources Specialist, Account Tech II
Primary duties are to oversee bill reconciliation and employee transactions on the HR database; staff recruitment and employment; provide information to applicant inquiries and oversight of the pre-employment screening.
Human Resources Assistant
Primary duties are to provide administrative and clerical support; greet guest, answer phone lines, maintain employee database and maintain employee files.
