All other matters are reset as follows:

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Supreme Court issued an order on March 13, 2020 suspending in-person court proceedings through March 31, 2020.  There are exceptions to the suspension of in-person court proceedings.  You can read a copy of the Supreme Court order here.   The Supreme Court Order may be amended from time to time and it may be extended if necessary.

The limited types of cases that we take up during this time will basically involve incarcerated criminal defendants; or emergency hearing types.

During this time, the Clerk’s Office will remain open and Judges will be available to hear limited matters as outlined in the order.

Jury Duty - No jurors will be called in during this period of time.

Statutes of Limitations, Orders of Protections and Temporary Injunctions that expire between March 13th and March 31, 2020 – Are extended through April 6, 2020.

Payment Plans – We realize that some people may be facing financial distress or may be out of work due to COVID-19 concerns.  We will be happy to work with you on revising your payment plan should you be unable to make your payments.

Each day, we will be updating information pertaining to the courts as more becomes available.

Court dates will be updated in our online court records as they become available.  To check your case for rescheduled court dates, please visit:  https://mcgtn.org/circuit/online-court-records.  You may also check with your Attorney or your Bail Bonding Agent (in criminal cases) if you have one.
