In 1994, a Federal Grant was requested for the purpose of hiring and training deputies who would be assigned on a full time basis to our local High Schools. With additional grant funding and proven success in the schools, the SRO program has expanded to a contingent of 27 deputies, 4 Sergeants and 1 Lieutenant.
