Due to heavy rains, numerous trees and power lines are down throughout the county. Some roadways are also affected. If you come upon water in the roadway, remember don’t drown, turn around!

“Going Off the Grid: A Celebration of Science in Living”

Join us as Bill and Genie Moore will share their journey on building a sustainable home – the 7th LEED Platinum home in Tennessee. Whether you are building or making adjustments, this informative event will help you see how small changes can save you money and help the environment.

When: Thursday, April 27th from 6 to 8 p.m., RSVP required by April 24, 2017

Where: APSU Sunquist Science Building, at the corner of College and 8th St., Rm E106 A

Parking: Any parking lot; closest are on campus Eighth St. and Ford St.

Cost: $5, (APSU Students may attend free with ID). Proceeds will be donated to sustainability initiatives.
