Hazardous Waste Collection Events

Restrictions:

No ashes, RCRA hazardous wastes, or radioactive materials are accepted.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection events are hosted annually to allow residents to dispose of various hazardous materials safely and conveniently.

During hazardous waste collection events we will accept up to 100 pounds of items such as household cleaners; automotive products; home, lawn and garden products; home maintenance products; and miscellaneous items such as old computers, batteries, pool chemicals, photoprocessing chemicals, medicines and drugs, aerosols and compressed gas. Please note that the following potentially hazardous household items are accepted at the landfill located at 3212 Dover Road for recycling during normal hours of operation in addition to being accepted at hazardous waste collection events.

  • Batteries
  • Used cooking oil and motor oil
  • Latex Paint
  • Antifreeze
  • Electronic waste (computers & tv’s)
